Owner / Head Instructor
Master Tersak is the Head Instructor at Pak’s Karate Academy of Mandarin. He is a 5th Degree black belt in Tang Soo Do with over 20 years of training and 13+ years of teaching experience. He has trained at Martial Arts schools all over the United States. In addition to his Tang Soo Do belt, he holds ranking in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Modern Arnis, and Taekwondo. In 2015, While attending graduate school Master Tersak, along with his wife (Angelina) and brother (Master Nicholas), purchased the school from his instructor upon his retirement so that Pak’s Karate Academy would continue to serve the families of the Mandarin and Northern St. John’s County communities. Along with his Martial Arts rankings, he now holds a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. He strives to instill the Black Belt Mindset in all of his students. With the main goal of developing self-confidence in his student, Master Tersak hopes to give them the tools to become the best that they can be.
Owner / Senior Instructor
Master Nicholas is 20 years old and is one of Pak’s Karate’s most avid and well-rounded instructors. He recently received his 4th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo and manages most of what goes on in classes. He directs the beginner program, demo program, and Filipino Martial Arts (Kali) at the school. He also leads the initiative to partner with Great Strides, a special needs development school. Here he employs his Martial Arts abilities to provide a physical education component and exercise curriculum to help them succeed. Master Nicholas is the instructor who teaches the advanced classes and specialty classes. Additionally, Master Nicholas has ranking in both Modern Arnis and Taekwondo.

Mrs. Angelina began her martial arts training in 2009 and is currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo. She is in active intense training for her 3rd Degree test that occurs in November of 2017. She runs the front desk and manages the school; people love her addictive personality. She is able to teach students of all ages and manages both the Adult special needs program and the Black Belt Preparation Course.

Missy Miles is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo and has been training in the Martial Arts since 2005. She has been a fitness trainer and consultant for the YMCA for many years. She currently runs the After School program in Northern St. Johns County and helps teach our beginner classes. She has 3 children, all of whom are 3rd Degree Black Belts and are actively involved in the leadership development program at the school.
